This beautiful Silk Square in pastel colors is dedicated to the mythical Cap of Sounion. The center piece is a painting of the temple of Poseidon (444–440 BC) during sunset surrounded by pheasants which are present on the site, and of a frieze with drawings referencing the myth of Aegeus, the King of Athens who jumped from cap Sounion in the sea and drowned when he mistakenly thought that his son Theseus had been defeated by the Minotaur.
