Drawing inspiration from the Loutrophoros-Hydria exposed today in the Archaic space of the Acropolis museum. Usually used to fetch water for the bridal bath, this vase is decorated in the black-figure technique. It's design celebrates prosperity, fertility, and marriage. Its neck depicts a woman between two men, carrying a wreath. On the body is a wedding procession with the bride in a chariot and a woman carrying a tray full of gifts, and two Sirens , surrounded by rays and a black base.
